Helsinki Log Cabin
The Finnforest Helsinki log cabin is the largest of Finnforest’s cabins. Because it has a front hall, two main rooms, and two side rooms, along with an upstairs storage area, it can become something of a home from home for you or noisy members of your family! The Helsinki particularly comes into its own when used as guest accommodation because your guests will be able to enjoy an almost totally self-contained living area that preserves both their privacy and yours for the duration of their stay.
The Helsinki cabin is also ideal for a whole host of other activities: home gym, teenage den, home office, studio, consulting office, workshop, or entertaining space, or a combination of the above! Because the Helsinki has several room areas, it would be perfectly possible to have a one-room office in one side, and an entertaining space in the other.
Given that the Helsinki’s walls are 44mm thick and its windows are double-glazed, heating bills during winter months will be greatly reduced, so the cabin can be used cheaply throughout the year. The upstairs loft space, accessible by ladder from the ground floor, can also be used for a whole range of storage purposes (or as a hidey hole for when things just get a bit too much!)
Square roof shingle tiles, toughened glass double glazing and decking terrace come as standard with every Helsinki, although there a whole range of luxurious extras available including: an extension kit, underfloor heating kit, flooring pack, guttering kit, security, LED lights, wood stain and protector, and various saunas.
